Cinemanila may be over and though every film-goer walked away a winner, not every film in competition at the Awarding Ceremony held at Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City could say the same.

In its twelve years in existence, Cinemanila has not only showed quality films from around the world. It has also discovered major local talents through its Short Film competition. This year’s Young Cinema Night proves to be a formidable batch, featuring strong narratives and brave experimental works that attempt to forward what cinema is and should be. Cinemanila has finally put up the official schedule of their films.
Though the festival proper will be running from November 11 to 17, at Market! Market! Cinemas in Bonifacio Global City, there’ll be various activities running in and around the city.

In a press conference held last friday, the Cinemanila team headed by Tikoy Aguiluz and joined by Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano shared the plans for this year’s Cinemanila, to be held from November 11 to 17, 2011 at the Market! Market! Cinemas in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
